Lowest Cost Books was started in Kristian's basement in the summer of 2002.
Disenfranchised with his slew of typical 8-5 jobs including: a stint as the Nutcracker, Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus at a Holiday Gift Store, working at a juice bar in Nantucket, mowing lawns, walking dogs, accounts receivable, furniture salesman, etc., Kristian began selling his old books and the books of his family members on the Internet - it was just a hobby, or so he thought.
Kristian quickly found that he was a passionate bookhound and his hobby became a full time obsession and career! He now spends his life searching the midwest looking for the most exciting books he can find.
His books are organized on computer and within the 3 garages / warehouses. Although Kristian works mainly to sell the treasures he has found, he also sells rare books for the Wichita Public Library and other non-profit literacy groups.
